Tenement

Twelve flats share the close at number 48. Between them they speak seven languages, and three of the families have lived there for more than forty years.

I visited each flat twice, once to talk and once to photograph. There were no lights and no styling, only the window nearest the door and whatever people wanted to wear that day.
